The Grand Lyon Film Festival just announced its 2016 programme this afternoon and is set to screen a total of 180 films, including the French premiere of Gregory Monro’s new documentary Jerry Lewis: The Man Behind the Clown.

Since 2009, the respected Lumière Film Festival takes place every year in October in Lyon, France to celebrate the history of cinema with a line-up of restored prints, retrospectives and tributes dedicated to the works of the past. This one-hour tribute to Jerry Lewis — who just turned 90 earlier this year — will be presented by writer/director Gregory Monro on Monday, October 11 at 19h30 at the Lumière Institute.

The documentary most recently had its worldwide premiere earlier this month at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado and will soon be screening at numerous other film festivals including:
