FREE Screenings of “Keith Haring, le petit prince de la rue” every Saturday & Sunday
All over the world, you spot people with badges, t-shirts, posters, and other artifacts by Keith Haring (1958-1990). This authentic pop idol was one of the most celebrated artists of his time, and even today everyone recognizes his inimitable style and insignia. This exhibition comprises over 220 works executed on tarpaulins, canvases, and in the subway, together with drawings and sculptures lent by numerous museums and private collections. Some of these works have not been on public view since his premature death. The presentation takes place also at Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris, making this one of the most extensive Keith Haring retrospectives ever. FREE screenings of the feature documentary, Keith Haring, le petit prince de la rue (directed by Christina Clausen, produced by French Connection Films, OverCom and Absolute Film) will be shown every weekend during the exposition for all visitors of the exposition. The DVD will also be on sale at the CENTQUATRE boutique, as well as the boutique at the Musée d’Art moderne.
